Basic List of School Supplies Needed for Elementary School
(Taken from actual lists for
elementary...it's hard to come up with a list that is true to all elementary school, So this list is a list I've come up with
that just about covers all the schools & all grades. Each school in Loudoun puts out it's own list and it varies from
school to school)
Backpacks to have the following supplies:
1 - 2" Three ring binder (no trapper
keepers)
6 - Dividers for notebook
1 - Package of wide ruled loose-leaf paper
1 - Marble Composition books
(100 count)
4 - Pocket folders with brads (assorted colors)
1 - Pair of Scissors (blunt)
1 - Box of Crayons
(24 count)
1 - Package of Colored Pencils (10-12 count)
1 - Package of Washable Markers (8-12 count)
1 - 12"
ruler with centimeter/inch
8 - # 2 pencils (sharpened)
2 - Glue Sticks
2 - Red Pens
1 - 3 x 5 ruled index
cards (100 count)
1 - Fluorescent yellow highlighters
3 - Spiral Notebooks
1 - Small School Box (plastic preferred)
2 - Pink Erasers
***The following items are shared with the entire class, but students are also asked to bring the
following:
Box of Kleenex
Ziploc Bags (quart or gallon)
Box of Baby Wipes
Antibacterial Liquid Soap or
Hand Sanitizer (pump dispenser)
Middle/ High School
High Schools do not give out the supply lists prior
to the first day of school, as the supply list is different for each subject. Generally, they would need almost everything
that the Middle School Students need. Note: High School students often need scientific calculators for advanced math classes.
