APPLICATION FOR 2013 ASSISTANCE WILL BE AVAILABLE AUGUST 2013

Since 1996, the Community Holiday Coalition "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program has helped thousands of Loudoun County families have a wonderful holiday season.

In 2011, We were able to serve over 1,200 families at the distribution. 

Over 2500 Stockings were distributed in 2011

In partnership with Loudoun Interfaith Relief, the Holiday Coalition helped to distribute food for preparing a Thanksgiving meal to more than 1,400 families.

List of Items to Donate
Please - New items only. Thank you!! 
 
Clothing
Complete outfits for infants through teens. Sweaters, warm socks, hats, and gloves for seniors.

Household & Personal Care Items
Toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant, soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, and all-purpose cleaners.

Toys
New toys of all kinds for infants through pre-teens.

Stockings
Fill a stocking for children ages 2-12 years. We provide the empty stockings. Call 703-737-8062 or email info@givingothers.org.

Teens
New electronic games, jewelry, purses, toiletry items, etc. This group is our biggest challenge!

Seniors
Blankets and quilts, warm sweaters and cardigans (especially sizes XL and up), hats and gloves, underwear (larger sizes), and socks.

Pets
Pet food, toys, and supplies.

Gift Certificates
Varied certificates for teenage gifts as well as grocery store gift cards for perishable items. Certificates in small amounts such as $20 are easiest to distribute fairly.

Cash Donations
We can always use funds to help us purchase items in any of the above areas and also to fund warehouse space needs.
